About the role

DE STONE SDN BHD' is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
• Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Providing financial and commercial advice to project managers and stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
• Preparing progress reports and financial statements for management and clients
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-effective strategies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• To prepare main claim and subcontractor claim every month for submission
• To manage pre and post contract administration including site measurement, variation order, final account, wastage monitoring, evaluate and preparing tender documents and contracts, attend site meeting, laisse with consultants and clients to ensure smooth process during the whole project.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and contract documentation.
• Ensure all documentation is properly filed and accessible.
• Oversee the procurement process for materials and subcontractors
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior
