Assistant Professor (DS13) – Paediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health

International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) invites applications for the Assistant Professor (DS13) role in the Department of Paediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health.

Basic salary : RM6,210.00 – RM14,370.00 (based on experience)
Area of specialization : Biostatistics

Faculty : Kulliyyah of Dentistry

Responsibilities

Teaching : deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars, and supervise student activities.

Curriculum and material development across platforms.

Research : conduct studies, write papers, proposals, journal articles, books.

Student guidance : advise on ethics, conduct, and academic matters.

Community engagement and outreach.

Attend meetings, conferences, committees, and institutional events.

Participate in continuous professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

Master’s in Biostatistics / Statistics / Mathematics.

PhD in Biostatistics or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years experience in field.

Published work advantageous.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia & English.

IELTS Band 6 / MUET Band 4 required; otherwise, take IIUM English Proficiency Test.
