Job summary :

  • Expected salary : RM3,500 per month

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure the smooth execution of projects
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety guidelines
  • Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and project documentation to support decision-making and communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a learning environment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, innovations, and best practices in civil and structural engineering

    • What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil or structural engineering projects, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in the use of engineering software, such as CAD, structural analysis, and project management tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering projects within defined timelines and budgets
  • Proficient in report writing, contract administration, and regulatory compliance
  • Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent professional body
