About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Executive to join our dynamic team at Guan Chong Cocoa Manufacturer Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Purchasing Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations by sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and supplies. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Procure spare parts, raw materials, consumables, and services required by end users, ensuring timely delivery.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and purchase materials or services from local and overseas suppliers.
• Conduct supplier evaluation and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Handle specialized purchasing activities for GCB at the Ivory Plant, including sourcing, procurement, and export of specialized parts or materials.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superiors from time to time
