About the role

Join the dynamic team at PORGIE & CO' as a full-time Sales Assistant in our Kota Kinabalu, Sabah location. In this role, you will be an integral part of delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting the growth of our thriving retail business.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assisting customers with product selection, answering inquiries, and processing sales transactions
  • Maintaining store presentation and visual merchandising standards
  • Restocking and organising product displays to optimise sales
  • Handling cash and card payments accurately
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and store objectives
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and build rapport
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company
