Job descriptionA university degree (or equivalent qualification) in engineering, finance, or law. At least 10 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. Experience with Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements, and Sales Contracts. Previous experience in commercial negotiations and economics. Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in negotiating oil and gas contracts. Fluent in both oral & written English.
Job Description :
Client : A subsidiary of a leading oil and gas exploration and production company.
Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Type of hiring : Contract
Responsibilities :
- Protect the company's interests during commercial discussions.
- Coordinate and / or lead commercial discussions.
- Prepare business ideas and scenario evaluations and provide support.
- Examine the commercial consequences of business actions.
- Coordinate responses to JVPs and other inquiries.
- Make certain that the company is well-represented in industry and trade associations.
- Assist the Head of Commercial and Economics with reporting and other duties as assigned.
