Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly qualified Energy Manager with strong expertise in Facility Management and proven experience in delivering energy-related facility projects. The candidate must possess certifications from the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and be a Certified Electrical Energy Manager (CEEM), ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement energy management strategies to optimize energy usage and reduce operational costs in all facilities.
  • Conduct energy audits, analyze utility data, and recommend energy efficiency improvements for building systems (HVAC, electrical, water, lighting, etc.).
  • Oversee facility management projects focusing on energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Manage energy performance contracts and support the integration of renewable and sustainable energy solutions.
  • Provide professional advice on energy-efficient technologies and facility upgrades.
  • Prepare reports on energy performance, savings, and project ROI for management and stakeholders.
  • Lead awareness and training programs to promote energy conservation among facility staff and occupants.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and government agencies to deliver energy-related projects effectively.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of energy and facility management expenditures.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Facility Management, or related field.
  • Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
  • Certified Electrical Energy Manager (CEEM).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in energy management and facility management projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, energy regulations, sustainability frameworks, and facility operations.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
