Overview

Finance Executive (GL Reporting) at Boost, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring data accuracy, and providing management with financial insights. Coordinate with various departments, adhere to financial compliance standards, and support process improvements to streamline reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for financial entries and reconciliation.
  • Prepare financial reporting including Balance Sheet review, cash flow analysis, and loyalty reports.
  • Conduct monthly Management Accounting analysis.
  • Review general entries from P2P teams and intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly close and financial closing activities.
  • Propose and support process workflow improvements for the team.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor or management when needed.

Requirements

  • Relevant financial closing, GL and reporting experience; experience in a similar industry is a plus.
  • ACCA / CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Experience navigating an ERP environment (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar).
  • 5 years of experience in finance or accounting with a focus on reporting and reconciliation.
  • Business partnership mindset and ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Hands-on experience in financial closing and operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Flexible working hours and adaptability to non-traditional schedules.
  • Experience with Agile ways of working.
  • Positive mindset and self-drive.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
