Job descriptionPlay a key role in the setup and breakdown of event spaces. Provide on-site operational support, assisting with guest registration, wayfinding, and general inquiries. Serve as a liaison for vendors, performers, or guests, ensuring a smooth flow of operations. Work closely with the operations team to handle last-minute requests and solve problems in real-time. Help manage event equipment and ensure all elements are functioning as planned. Assist with the post-event breakdown, including packing materials and returning equipment. Help collect feedback and data for post-event reporting and analysis. Participate in debrief meetings to discuss event successes and areas for improvement. Support the team with administrative tasks to close out events.
Pre-Event Planning & Preparation :
- Assist with logistical planning and preparation for a wide range of events.
- Help coordinate with various vendors and suppliers, obtaining quotes and managing communications.
- Support the creation of event documents, including schedules, floor plans, and task lists.
- Assist in preparing event materials, such as registration kits, name badges, and promotional signage.
- Help maintain and organize event inventory and supplies.
