Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Mercury engine certifications / background only

Based in Dubai

Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, including staffing, and training

Oversee the work of service technicians, ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality

Develop and maintain relationships with our dealer network, providing support and training as required and as necessary

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Liaise closely and coordinate with the workshop manager for scheduling, training and technicians' performance.

Liaise with the sales department and assist them with technical advice or issues when necessary

Participate in company meetings and provide regular reports on the performance of the service department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service management role in the marine industry

Mercury certification is required

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and dealers

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Proficient in outboard and inboard engines and their components

Proficient with computer systems and software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

10. Computer proficiency, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP (SAP) is an advantage.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong knowledge of Mercury In-out board engines and parts.

Provides effective technical support and training to teams and dealers, ensuring strong relationships.

Mercury certification is essential for the role

Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting collaboration and accountability.

Clear and effective communication with team members, dealers, and customers.

Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement practical solutions efficiently.

Job Types : Full-time, Contract

Contract length : 24 months

Pay : RM17, RM22,000.00 per month
