About the role

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team at Saujana Prima Development Sdn Bhd, company based in Bandar Saujana Putra, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

To assist the Contracts Manager to carry out pre-contract and post-contract activities.

Familiar with tender exercise in main Contractor's environment.

To handle pre-contract administrative works - preparation and compilation of tender documents for submission.

To forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.

To track changes to the design and / or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.

To produce or agree the services of contractors and / or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project measure and value the work done on site.

To liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as Site Managers, Project Managers and Site Engineers.

To select and / or source construction materials.

To undertake other duties and responsibilities as instructed by superior.

What we're looking for

Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field

Preferably with more than 3 year(s) of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project financial controls

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferably those with experience in pre-qualification exercise, tender bids and preparing quotations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Able to take-off quantities and prepare cost estimates and budgets.
