Job Responsibilities :

To manage and innovate the key food categories such as in-store desserts, in-store food, Ready-to-eat, Bakes in mynews retail and CU mart.
To lead a team of food innovators and plan out the key strategies for the appointed categories for a successful growth.
Drive product insights, roadmap, marketing and P&L of the product category.
Responsible to refine product recipes and formulations.
Build and keep track of competitors products in a database.
Manage the entire process from market research, creating thematics, menu innovation, overseeing photo shooting, sourcing, costing, pricing, focus groups, SOP, final management tastings.
Oversee all of the SOPs created by team and ensure proper execution.
To ensure cost and operational efficiency by maximizing usage of each raw materials.
To lead, manage and motivate respective Fresh Food Executives or Assistants.

Job Requirements :

Min 3 year(s) of working experience in retail / CVS / FMCG / food service industry.

Knowledgeable in Food Science & Technology / Halal / Food Safety.

Attention to details and organized.

Possess relevant experience leading Product development / innovation.

Good command of both written and spoken English.

Highly analytical mind, communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills to support business-decision making and help drive business efficiency.

Proficient in MS Office e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Good to have :

Result oriented, able to work at a fast pace, multi-task and tight deadlines environment.

Spoken Language : Malay, English

Written Language : Malay, English
