Job Responsibilities :
- To manage and innovate the key food categories such as in-store desserts, in-store food, Ready-to-eat, Bakes in mynews retail and CU mart.
- To lead a team of food innovators and plan out the key strategies for the appointed categories for a successful growth.
- Drive product insights, roadmap, marketing and P&L of the product category.
- Responsible to refine product recipes and formulations.
- Build and keep track of competitors products in a database.
- Manage the entire process from market research, creating thematics, menu innovation, overseeing photo shooting, sourcing, costing, pricing, focus groups, SOP, final management tastings.
- Oversee all of the SOPs created by team and ensure proper execution.
- To ensure cost and operational efficiency by maximizing usage of each raw materials.
- To lead, manage and motivate respective Fresh Food Executives or Assistants.
Job Requirements :
Min 3 year(s) of working experience in retail / CVS / FMCG / food service industry.Knowledgeable in Food Science & Technology / Halal / Food Safety.Attention to details and organized.Possess relevant experience leading Product development / innovation.Good command of both written and spoken English.Highly analytical mind, communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills to support business-decision making and help drive business efficiency.Proficient in MS Office e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Good to have :
Result oriented, able to work at a fast pace, multi-task and tight deadlines environment.Spoken Language : Malay, English
