Responsibilities
- Check the possibility of order fulfillment based on available resources (materials, employees, equipment, etc.) and confirm the order.
- Prepare production plans, input planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, and notify the purchasing group.
- Monitor and control the implementation of plans and take necessary actions in case of deviations.
- Prepare long‑term plans and forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
- Monitor system accuracy in daily / weekly bases : General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data, non‑consumed demand, planned WO’s.
- Prepare clean‑to‑build reports, check material availability, replan if necessary, inform the order desk, and trace ECO implementation.
- Monitor stock level and handle stock differences.
- Prepare management and CFT‑specificized reports, monitor KPIs.
- Provide assistance and replace in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
- Advise non‑exempt associates regarding day‑to‑day priority of customer requests.
- Monitor and proactively address issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead‑time, response time, and inventory goals.
- Coordinate and manage high‑visibility and / or important customer programs.
- May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
- Coordinate with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related material availability issues.
- Drive process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
- Provide input to management, reschedule, and / or interface with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Represent Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
- May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.Demonstrates basic people and / or process management skills.Benefits
