Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Check the possibility of order fulfillment based on available resources (materials, employees, equipment, etc.) and confirm the order.
• Prepare production plans, input planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, and notify the purchasing group.
• Monitor and control the implementation of plans and take necessary actions in case of deviations.
• Prepare long‑term plans and forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
• Monitor system accuracy in daily / weekly bases : General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data, non‑consumed demand, planned WO’s.
• Prepare clean‑to‑build reports, check material availability, replan if necessary, inform the order desk, and trace ECO implementation.
• Monitor stock level and handle stock differences.
• Prepare management and CFT‑specificized reports, monitor KPIs.
• Provide assistance and replace in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
• Advise non‑exempt associates regarding day‑to‑day priority of customer requests.
• Monitor and proactively address issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead‑time, response time, and inventory goals.
• Coordinate and manage high‑visibility and / or important customer programs.
• May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related material availability issues.
• Drive process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
• Provide input to management, reschedule, and / or interface with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Represent Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
• May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
