We are hiring on behalf of our Fintech client, for an experienced Senior Technical Services Engineer specializing in Middleware and Host Integration . This role is part of the Enterprise Business Services team, where you’ll play a vital part in ensuring seamless host integration, maintaining system reliability, and optimizing performance.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to J2EE servers (WebLogic / WebSphere) , host integrations (IBM MQ, Web Services), and proxy servers (Apache HTTP Server).

Conduct server health checks , performance tuning , and hardware sizing analysis .

Develop Java-based components to support server integration with external or third-party applications.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation , such as setup guides, incident reports, and health check summaries.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent.

3 to 5 years of working experience (Java Web Development background is good)

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with good understanding of system workflows.

Able to work independently and deliver results under tight timelines.

Proficient in English communication (both written and verbal) and capable of producing clear documentation.

Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn emerging technologies.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Strong understanding of J2EE concepts (EJB, JMS, JDBC, JTA, Servlets, JSP).

Hands-on experience in UNIX-based environments (Solaris, Ubuntu, Linux).

Basic knowledge of RDBMS and SQL programming .

Familiarity with Kubernetes implementation and documentation practices.
