Project Engineer

Authority -To verify site job execution / site variation order. -To make decision on minor site expenses and site execution. -To make decision on site matter during site meeting. -Execute routine duties independently as per lay out by supervisor (Senior Project Engineer) Responsibilities -To monitor closely the project execution or project schedule for MP and ST project. -To prepare costing and quotation as per customer specification and requirement within the timeline. -To attend tender interview for MISC Project, repair job, trading of spare parts and etc. -To assign task to site supervisors or site technician according to the plan. -To monitor closely the project activity and service quality. -To liaise with the local authority for approval such as DOE and DOSH etc. -The above job description is by no mean exhaustive. Additional responsibilities may be given to you as and when it is deemed necessary. Experience / Skills Required -Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. -Preferably 1 – 2 years of working experience in the related field. Fresh graduate are encourage to apply as well. -Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia in both written and spoken. Able to speak in Chinese is an added advantages. -Able to travel extensively (regionally / or globally) and are able to stay on the job site (3-4 weeks being normal timeline) -Able to work independently with minimum supervision and possess a high sense of responsibility. -Possess good leadership skills, self-motivated, resourceful, process result driven with high integrity. -Must be able to use Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel and Word. Special or Unique Aspects -Preferably with knowledge in boiler. -Able to be based at site. -Possessed valid driving license (D license).
