Clinic Assistant

Role of Clinic Assistant

• Clinical Support : Deliver safe, high-quality care. Directly assist the doctor during patient examinations, coordinate and execute care orders, and competently perform specific procedures such as visual acuity and eye dressing.
• Safety & Infection Control : Uphold high standards of patient safety and care. Rigorously follow Infection Prevention Control SOPs and ensure all work surfaces are meticulously cleaned and disinfected.
• Inventory & Equipment Management : Maintain accurate inventory and monitor expiry dates for all clinic consumables and eye drops. Ensure all medical equipment is functional and report any faults immediately.
• Documentation & Reporting : Identify and flag priority patient cases for the doctor. Maintain accurate records of all infection cases and promptly report all patient and staff incidents to the superior.
• Team Development : Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff and participate in all required professional development and in-service training programs.
• Other additional duties as assigned from time to time by the superior and management
