Job Summary

Product Engineer play a role in the design, development, and validation of new products and the renovation of existing products. This position involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, internal and external partners to evaluate market demands and analyze industry trends to design and test new products and improve existing products to meet customers expectation.

Job Description

Conduct market and desk research to identify market requirements and needs for new product development.

Align company objectives with market insights to define product development goals.

Analyze industry trends, evaluate existing products to identify improvement and opportunities and enhance user satisfaction.

Conduct desk research to provide data and insight on industry trends, competitors' moves, and end-user industries' requirements.

Assess end-user requirements and propose new product ideas to suit their evolving needs.

Deliver product presentations and provide technical support to customers, resolving product-related issues effectively.

Perform sales analysis and generate actionable insight to support strategic decisions and product reporting.

Education and Job Requirement

A recognized qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Mechatronic, Chemical, Actuarial science, any Engineering field, or time served apprenticeship.

At least 2 years of experience in a related field will be an advantage.

Innovative, critical thinking skills with the ability to generate and develop new ideas.

Data analysis skill expert in Microsoft Excel, to organize, analyze, and present complex databases.

Excellent communication. Proficiency in other languages is a advantages.

Occasional travel within the Asia-Pacific region is required (when necessary).
