Job Opportunity – Senior Geophysicists

We’re sourcing for Senior Geophysicists.

Estimated Duration : 10 months (i.e. 01 March 2025 – 31 December 2025)

REQUIREMENTS : -

• BSc in Geophysics or other related discipline, with min. 10 years Geophysics experience in the upstream oil & gas sector, ideally with an operator.
• Possess solid understanding of geology.
• Extensive seismic interpretation experience in both stratigraphic and structural settings.
• Strong competency in seismic attribute mapping, experience with AVO techniques and quantitative seismic analysis.
• Must possess extensive experience integrating geological, geophysical and reservoir engineering data into geotechnical evaluations and reservoir models.
• Must possess experience representing the geophysics function in meetings and correspondence with host government and joint venture partners.
• Experience in technical evaluations for business development new venture opportunities is a plus.
• Either direct seismic processing experience or experience managing processing projects is a plus.
• Experience in the use of Petrel is a must. Experience in Hampson- Russell / RokDoc would be advantageous.
• Experience in delivering deviated and horizontal wells is advantageous.
• Experience working in the Malay Basin is a must.
