Base pay range

This range is provided by CKY Recycle Plastic Sdn. Bhd.. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain a 5-ton or 10-ton lorry in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
  • Transport plastic materials and refined products between the company's Nilai facility and designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and proper handling.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the lorry, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper securing techniques to prevent damage or shifting during transit, and verify the accuracy of the load against shipping documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs, and submit reports to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on the lorry, such as changing light bulbs or wiper blades, and coordinate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid GDL Class E driving license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience operating 5-ton or 10-ton lorries.
  • Proficient in Mandarin to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with routes in and around Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, and other areas as required.
  • Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.
  • Adherence to all traffic laws and company safety regulations to ensure safe and responsible driving.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet delivery schedules and operational demands.
