Human Resources Manager

Location : Medi Beaute WP, Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead the HR department and enhance our Human Resources function, with a key focus on staff engagement, organizational culture, and employee experience. This role is critical in shaping a positive and high‑performing work environment by driving HR strategies that align with our company values and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Engagement & Culture

Develop and lead employee engagement strategies and initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Conduct regular engagement activities, analyze results, and implement action plans.
  • Organize and oversee staff recognition programs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and culture ambassador within the organization.
  • Engage with Centre and Head Quarter staff.
  • Partner with stakeholders and JV directors to align HR practices with business objectives.
  • Lead HR planning, policy development, and implementation in accordance with labour laws and best practices.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
  • Talent Management
  • Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

  • Support onboarding, career development, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Implement performance management systems that promote continuous feedback and development.
  • HR Operations
  • Oversee and supervise HR team members to support daily operations.

  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration in collaboration with Directors.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive HR operations experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Preferably possesses HR operations experience in the retail or beauty industry.
  • Strong experience in employee engagement, communications, and culture‑building.
  • In‑depth experience in HR best practices and change management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Possess own car.
  • Able to read and write in English and Chinese is an added advantage.
  • Willing to travel frequently (40 % – Klang Valley & outstation).
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive initiatives across departments.
  • Salary range : RM8,000 - RM10,000.
