Job Description
Prepare demand forecast to meet the sales requirements & plant capacity by reviewing weekly requirement.
Monitor potential risks and opportunities based on analysis of demand forecast trends by customers, products and segment level. Incorporate forecasted incremental sales due to Promotional or Marketing activities.
Collaborate with Sales Team to close up any anticipated gaps between demand forecast against actual sales orders. Monitor the progress of actual production against actual sales orders and feed back to sales team.
Work with Sales team to forecast customer needs, follow up on orders to ensure timely and complete delivery and prioritize customer orders fulfilment.
Perform variance analysis between sales forecast against budget and measure accuracy of forecast. Communicate the desirable level of forecast accuracy to Sales team in order to improve forecast accuracy from bottom-up approach
Participate and contribute in cross functional supply chain projects and initiatives for process improvements.
Prioritize and manage allocation of stocks across regions, customers and products.
Plans initial stocking quantities for new products and participate in Sales and Marketing activity planning.
Manage information dissemination and coordination between Sales, Sales Support, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Plant, Logistics and Warehouse team
Develop, prepare and update monthly demand forecasting information to support the Sales team.
Monitor aging stocks or slow-moving products to report to respective stakeholders and propose the potential feasible interventions to minimize potential losses.
Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
