Company and Job Overview

Our client is a global trading specializing in a wide range of products. As part of their business expansion, they are seeking to hire a Technical Sales to drive revenue growth for their reinforced concrete structural design solution system within the construction industry. The role will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Job Responsibilities

Design and calculation of floor slabs and associated beams for reinforced concrete (RC) and steel-framed (S) buildings
Perform structural calculations including rebar volume, strength, deflection rate and load capacity
Interpret construction drawings and conduct structural calculations (using CAD) for general contractors
Provide professional technical advice and support to clients
Drive product sales and build strong relationships with contractors and industry stakeholders

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or related field

3-5 years of experience in construction or technical sales related to reinforced concrete structural design

Product sales experience is preferred

Proficient in reading construction drawings and performing structural calculations

Excellent communication and presentation skills
