Job Description
The Business Manager, Pharma - MY & SG role at Brenntag is responsible for developing and implementing the country business plan and sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
The key responsibilities include :
- Developing and implementing the country business plan and sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
- Managing working capital for the pharma business unit in Malaysia and Singapore.
- Implementing and driving new business developments to achieve business growth.
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with key suppliers and customers.
- Driving and leading the sales team to ensure the achievement of annual sales targets.
- Developing and executing commercial excellence initiatives to maximize profitable revenue.
- Providing sales forecasts and reports to suppliers and management.
- Aligning local country strategies with regional core supplier strategies.
- Staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
The ideal candidate will have :
A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Technologies, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field.Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Nutraceuticals industry.Good business acumen and communication skills.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Strong negotiation and influencing skills.Adaptability and ability to develop solutions as per customer needs.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Exceptional organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in English and fluency in any SEA language is an added advantage.Brenntag is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
