Job Summary
The Audit Intern will gain practical exposure and hands-on experience in audit and assurance services. The role provides support to the audit team in performing audit assignments, assisting with working papers, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist audit team in planning and executing audit assignments for various clients.
- Perform vouching, casting, checking, and verifying of financial documents and records.
- Support preparation of audit working papers and documentation.
- Assist in ensuring audit procedures are in compliance with auditing standards.
- Perform basic accounting and administrative tasks related to audit engagements.
- Participate in stock counts and fieldwork assignments when required.
- Support the audit team in meeting deadlines and client expectations.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Audit Seniors / Managers.
