Our Digital Tax team comprises both Tax and Technology subject matter experts, working in tandem to transform and automate business processes across areas such as corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and goods and services tax. Using a combination of off-the-shelf applications and bespoke products, we provide effective digital solutions to enable data-driven insights and ease the burden of manual processes so that efforts can instead be channelled into navigating the modern-day Tax landscape. You will work as part of a team that develops applications for internal as well as clients’ use. This role offers exciting exposure to cutting-edge technologies, including the application of generative AI in tax processes, helping to shape the future of digital tax solutions and make a real impact. Responsibilities
Develop, utilize and maintain technology tools and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore and extract insights from data. Agile in collaborating with diverse stakeholders through project phases of identifying opportunities for process improvements, undertaking risk management checks, to designing, building, testing and deployment of solutions. Play an active role in project management Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Contribute to training on digital tools, skill sets and processes Education
Recognised degree in Quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, etc.), Information Technology or related field. Fresh graduates and experienced candidates may apply. Skillset
Ability to code in .NET and in-depth understanding of MS SQL. Ability to troubleshoot application systems independently and be an effective team player. Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies. Experience / Proficiency with LLMs, Open Source, Big Data, Machine Learning, or other numerical programming framework is a plus. Experience / Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, Microsoft Azure, Alteryx or other programming languages is a plus. Worked with DevOps or GitHub is a plus. Knowledge in designing or maintaining workflow processes in BPM. K2 or Nintex BPM knowledge is a plus Required Skills
