Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Relations, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in international student recruitment or education marketing, preferably for the China market.
- Excellent command of Mandarin (spoken & written) and English.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage agent relationships.
- Good understanding of the Chinese education system, student behaviours, and market dynamics.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally as required.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (WeChat, RED, Baidu, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for student recruitment from China and Chinese-speaking regions.Build and maintain strong relationships with education agents, partners, and institutions in the China market.Organise and participate in international education fairs, roadshows, and recruitment events.Create and localise marketing content (brochures, social media, digital campaigns) tailored to the Chinese audience.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable insights to enhance recruitment strategies.Collaborate with internal departments including Admissions, Marketing, and Academics to ensure smooth enrolment processes.Represent City University Malaysia at key international forums, exhibitions, and student engagement activities.Prepare regular reports on market performance, agent activities, and student intake data.Benefits
