Job description

Hemodialysis Procedure

  • Set up and prepare the dialysis machine prior to each treatment.
  • Prime both the machine and dialyzer as per established protocols.
  • Insert needles into arteriovenous (AV) fistulas.
  • Continuously monitor the session, including patient vital signs, fluid balance, and machine settings.
  • Identify and appropriately manage any complications such as low blood pressure, muscle cramps, blood clotting, or line disconnection.

Pre- and Post-Dialysis Care

  • Conduct assessments before dialysis, including checking vital signs, weight, and vascular access condition.
  • Monitor and document the patient's status after treatment, including post-treatment weight and blood pressure.
  • Control bleeding at the access site once needles are removed.
  • Educate patients on dietary guidelines, fluid intake limits, and the importance of medication compliance.

    Pay : RM1, RM3,500.00 per month
