We're Hiring : Senior Network Administrator! We are seeking a Senior Network Administrator to support our growing scope and ensure the stability, security, and optimization of our global network infrastructure.

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Mode : Work from anywhere

Role : Senior Network Administrator

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and administer current and new network infrastructure and security solutions in line with support and operational processes.
  • Build, deploy, and manage WAN, LAN, WLAN, and network services (e.g., NLB), ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Provide senior-level operational support, including : Troubleshooting and problem management, Incident resolution and escalation handling, reporting and communication on activity, quality, and platform performance, and ensuring accurate technical documentation and support procedures.
  • Support new implementations of network and security infrastructure components.
  • Proactively ensure network stability, response time, operational consistency, and lifecycle management of network platforms.
  • Research, evaluate, and qualify new solutions for infrastructure improvements.
  • Provide technical recommendations to senior engineering and architecture teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Networking & Routing : Advanced administration and troubleshooting of LAN / WAN / WLAN networks; expertise in routing protocols (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • LAN Technologies : Strong knowledge of VRRP, VSS, STP, and QoS mechanisms.
  • Wireless : Wi-Fi controller and access point administration.
  • Security : Hands-on administration with Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls, Pulse Secure remote access, reverse proxy; Palo Alto certification preferred.
  • Load Balancers : Citrix NetScaler administration.
  • Monitoring & Optimization : WAN optimization (Riverbed), monitoring (SolarWinds), NetFlow analysis.
  • Other Tools : Infoblox DNS, CA Service Desk Manager (ticketing / CMDB).
  • Certifications : CCNP-level knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Secondary Technical Skills (Nice To Have)

  • Knowledge of infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, virtualization).
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes.
  • Telephony & voice infrastructure administration (Cisco preferred).
  • SD-WAN (Velocloud) exposure.
  • Behavioral Competencies

  • 3–7 years of infrastructure experience, with at least 3–5 years as a Network Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco networking products, Palo Alto, and Riverbed.
  • Self-motivated, eager to continuously learn and develop technical expertise.
  • Team-oriented, able to collaborate effectively across IT and business units.
  • Customer service mindset with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills (English mandatory; French reading skills a plus).
  • Willingness to travel when required.
