Purpose Statement : Drives strategic software asset management initiatives, focusing on advanced analytics, automation, and continuous improvement. This role requires deep expertise in complex licensing models and a proactive approach to risk management.
Responsibilities
- Strategic SAM Program Development and Implementation : includes developing and implementing advanced SAM strategies, automation, predictive analytics, establishing and maintaining comprehensive software license policies and procedures.
- License Compliance and Audit Management : leading complex software license audits and compliance programs across various platforms, managing and mitigating software license risks.
- Vendor Management and License Optimization : negotiating and managing enterprise-level software license agreements, optimizing costs, conducting in-depth usage and cost analysis.
- SAM Technology and Cloud Management : implementation and optimization of SAM tools and technologies, including cloud-based software licensing.
- Cross-Functional Leadership and Expert Advisory : leading cross-functional teams, providing expert advice to senior management on licensing matters.
- Security posture : responsible for upholding cybersecurity posture, adhering to security policies, training, protecting data, mitigating vulnerabilities, and reporting incidents.
Qualifications
Education / Experience : Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field with minimum 8 years experience in software license management; or Master’s degree with minimum 6 years experience; equivalent experience considered.Other Qualifications : Expert knowledge of complex software licensing models, SAM tools, compliance regulations; experience in advanced SAM strategies, automation, predictive analytics; strong analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making skills; excellent leadership, communication, negotiation skills.About the Company
