Responsible for technical product compliance with internal (ZF specification, ZF process...) and external requirements (substances, certification, OE / customer specifications…) for conventional shock absorber.
Execute product engineering tasks described in ZF GD-PEPs applicable to aftermarket, including technical benchmarking, specification definition, technical design & documentation, sample testing and validations, homologation & technical product release (PEDA : product engineering design approval) in time, in quality and in budget for newly release product as well as changes affecting existing products.
Your profile :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (automotive)
Good in English (speak and write)
Has a design / development experience in conventional / CDC / air spring shock absorber.
Has a strong knowledge in shock absorber development process (internal valve tuning against damping force characteristic, damping force interpretation against vehicle dynamic level)
Has a strong shock absorber manufacturing process knowhow & quality control
Has an experienced in engineering as well as exposure on process and quality control, ≥3 year experience.
Understanding / expert on the engineering drawing and has an experience to operate measurement equipment (CMM, 3D scanner, gauge, vernier calliper,)
