Role Summary
Reporting to the Director of Solar Sales – AMEA, the Sales Head / Sales Manager – SEA Region will lead the region and channel partners to drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plan. This role collaborates across functions to deliver organizational objectives, identify early‑stage opportunities, and develop relationships with key customers and partners. The position is based out of Kuala Lumpur / Bangkok, operates remotely with office visits as required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.Achieve assigned financial objectives and KPIs through monthly forecasting, funnel management, and revenue growth.Act as custodian of customer relationships and collaborate with other functions to ensure satisfaction.Regularly assess channels & target accounts, define growth potential, and develop strategies to achieve targets.Conduct regular meetings with key account decision makers to drive upselling and cross‑selling.Manage and measure regional performance using KPIs, identify gaps, and institute countermeasures.Evaluate current sales activities to identify strengths and areas for improvement for aggressive growth.Identify prospects and maintain relationships with authorities, engineering firms, and other influencing accounts.Negotiate and support execution of contracts, complex projects, and product development initiatives through internal departments.Analyze competitors’ activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning to adjust sales approaches.Lead and drive sales activities including site visits, telephone contacts, trade events, product demonstrations, seminars, and channel management.Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science; MBA preferred.Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience.5+ years of sales experience with channel partners & key accounts in the power sector, electrical products, solar, electronics, or metering business.Fluent written and spoken English.Ability to travel as required.Self‑motivated with a customer‑focused mindset.Unsolicited Assistance
