Job purpose

As a Security Operations Specialist, your main objective is to involve in Security Incident Response and Management.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include :

Develop and maintain the organization’s incident response plan and procedures.

Monitor security systems and logs for potential security incidents.

Investigate security incidents to determine their scope, cause, and impact.

Coordinate the response to security incidents, working closely with other teams such as IT, legal, and communications.

Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on the status of security incidents.

Conduct post‑incident analysis to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

Develop and deliver security incident response training to employees.

Stay up to date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities and ensure that our incident response plans are effective against them.

Participate in incident response exercises and drills to test and improve our incident response capabilities.

Experience

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science or relevant courses

3 – 5 years of professional experience in SOC and / or Security Incident Management process

Relevant cybersecurity professional certification is an advantage (i.e., CISSP, Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), etc.)

Technical skills

Proven experience in investigating and responding to security incidents

Strong knowledge of information security concepts, technologies, and best practices.

Ability to learn new technologies

Knowledge of SIEM and relevant Cyber Security product such as MS Sentinel, MS ADX, ArcSight, and etc.

Possess relevant skills in reporting tool (i.e., MS Office, Power BI, etc.)

Excellent writing and presentation skills are required in order to communicate findings and status

Detail oriented, organized, methodical, follow up skills with an analytical thought process

Innovative and efficiency focused

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
