The ideal candidate will possess a flair for creating captivating, creative, and engaging content specifically tailored for TikTok's unique audience. This role requires a deep understanding of TikTok trends, a knack for writing attention-grabbing hooks, and a strong ability to craft scripts that resonate with our target demographic. As a scriptwriter, you will play a key role in shaping the voice of our brand on social media and driving engagement through original concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative concepts and compelling TikTok scripts that align with brand messaging and target audience.
Write short, punchy, and engaging scripts that capture attention within the first few seconds of the video.
Collaborate with the content team, videographers, and designers to ensure scripts complement the visual elements of the video.
Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends, popular challenges, and viral topics to inform script writing.
Create hooks and content that encourage viewers to interact, comment, and share.
Edit and refine scripts based on feedback, ensuring high-quality, error-free output.
Contribute fresh ideas to the content calendar, focusing on creative ways to engage the audience.
Work independently and meet deadlines without constant supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a scriptwriter or content creator, particularly for TikTok or other short-form video platforms.

Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft short, punchy, and engaging content.

A creative mindset and the ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas.

Strong understanding of TikTok’s audience and trends.

Ability to adapt to different writing styles, tones, and themes as needed.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with a team.

Proficiency in basic video editing (preferred but not required).

Familiarity with social media analytics to understand content performance (a plus).

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in scriptwriting, content creation, or a similar role for digital platforms.

Prior experience writing for TikTok or similar short-form video platforms is highly preferred.

A portfolio showcasing previous TikTok scripts or similar content will be required.

Working Hours

This is a freelance, remote position with flexible working hours.

You will be expected to deliver scripts based on agreed-upon timelines.

Weekly meetings and communication with the team will be conducted via video conferencing.
