Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall performance of Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei operations, ensuring delivery of sales, profitability, and market share within agreed budgets.
  • Define and communicate a clear business vision and strategy aligned with global objectives, translating it into actionable plans for the country organization.
  • Drive P&L growth by exploring new business opportunities and optimizing existing sales channels.
  • Ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management, fostering cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence.
  • Shape market access strategies and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, policymakers, and regulatory bodies to maximize business opportunities.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams, driving talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus, inspiring engagement and motivation across teams.
  • Maintain and enhance company reputation by shaping the political and legislative environment, while ensuring integrity and alignment with compliance and ethical standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or leading a Business Unit or equivalent in the pharmaceutical industry, with full P&L accountability and a strong track record of delivering growth.
  • Strategic leadership capability, able to design and communicate clear business strategies and execute them effectively.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in managing diverse sales channels and driving market expansion.
  • High adaptability and cultural intelligence, capable of thriving in new or complex environments and leading diverse teams.
  • Change leadership experience, successfully navigating organizational transformation and inspiring engagement.
  • Strong talent development skills, building high-performing teams and developing future leaders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, influencing internal and external partners at senior levels.
  • Learning agility and ambition for larger GM roles, demonstrating readiness for future leadership growth.
  • Experience in multi-country or regional leadership roles, ideally within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Exposure to policy shaping, market access, or regulatory engagement in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated success in building inclusive, high-impact teams that foster innovation and collaboration.
  • Desirable Requirements
