Moral Teacher cum Geography Teacher (National School)

Overview

We are looking for a Moral cum Geography Teacher to join the National Secondary school and help learners advance in their learning. The successful candidate will be experienced and knowledgeable about teaching our national language, passionate about learning, and capable of inspiring colleagues, students and parents.

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, Kuala Lumpur campus is a large 3-18 school located on a green 20-acre site with excellent facilities and a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating place to work. Responsibilities

  • Teach Moral Education and Geography in alignment with the school’s curricula and national language requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, students and parents to inspire learning and ensure student wellbeing and safety.
  • Contribute to school policies and procedures and support school improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and share learning practices with a local and global team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in education is a prerequisite.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning with familiarity of effective instructional strategies.
  • Aptitude for positively managing student behavior and sustaining high expectations.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills; ability to work under stress when needed.
  • Ability to invest time in self-improvement and be a reliable team player.
