Cell Performance Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Cell Performance Engineer with experience in rechargeable battery development that is looking to get in on the ground floor of the next revolution in energy storage. This role is ideal for someone with technical experience in battery solutions. The role requires both in depth data analysis and hands on understanding of next generation battery’s operation, performance, and failure methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead test-related process improvements from development through production.
• Perform detailed test data analyses of cells to identify opportunities for product performance improvement.
• Effectively collaborate with colleagues around the world – in California, India, Korea and Malaysia.
• Design and run well-designed experiments based on DOE methodologies.
• Become the site expert in interpretation of battery test data.
• Work with our Applications group to benchmark critical customer requirements.
• Effectively communicate the results to various stakeholders.
