The Job

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and develop one or more teams of highly skilled professionals.
  • Manage laboratory resources, including equipment and technical tools, to ensure optimal usage.
  • Plan and execute analyses and measurements, while interpreting and validating results.
  • Organize and oversee projects, studies, and resources (human, technical, financial).
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, including budgets, schedules, and results.
  • Ensure compliance with scientific, technical, and regulatory standards.

    • The Profile

    The ideal candidate has :

  • A Degree in Engineering or in Science, Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience , with at least 3 years as within an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.

    • What You Bring

    Knowledge & Expertise :

  • Advanced proficiency in chromatographic and spectroscopic analysis techniques.
  • Mastery of ISO 17025 standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, materials, and metrology.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and data analysis.
  • Proven ability to write technical and scientific reports.

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Critical evaluation and optimization of analysis methods (cost, performance, quality).
  • Strategic decision-making on equipment, facilities, and technical processes.
  • Rigorous quality control, results validation, and performance assessment.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and ROI analysis.
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.

    • Cross-functional Skills :

  • Proficiency in digital tools and statistical analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and transmit knowledge effectively.
