METROLOGY ENGINEER

Job Description

• Management, maintenance and troubleshooting of inspection, measurement, and test equipment
• Evaluation and analysation of calibration, verification and measurement data
• Design inspections and testing method and create work instruction
• Maintain calibration laboratory and / or quality systems
• Responsible for the effectiveness of manufacturing controls and inspection methods to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• To improve overall measurement cycle time
• Setup and operation of CMM.
• Directs engineering, quality, and laboratory personnel in design, manufacture, evaluation, and Calibration of measurement standards, instruments, and test systems to ensure selection of approved instrumentation.
• Develops calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy and precision requirements.
• Conduct MSA for selected measurement equipement
• Any other responsibility which may be assigned form time to time by Department Head.
