Job description

1. To ensure all containers and cargoes are protected and safe at all times

  • Increase of patrolling around Ports parameter
  • Monitoring of all inbound, outbound and trans shipment high value containers and cargoes
  • Monitoring of all Custom hold containers / cargoes
  • Identifying local syndicates that involved in theft of container / cargoes
  • Joint cooperation with local enforcement agencies to eradicate the syndicates

2. To ensure the port is safe from criminal activities and secure to all port users and

Staff

  • Carry out enforcement on defaulters
  • Take severe actions on port users who do not comply to the rules and regulation set
  • Arrest and charge all illegal workers
  • Revoke Port passes and blacklist all offenders
  • Conduct 100% urine test on Staff / Port users involved in cases
  • Continuous operations and inspection on all our landed clients, warehouses and ODDs
  • Active monitoring of CCTV's
  • 3. To Ensure All Investigation Conducted are at a Very High Standard and Quality

  • All Criminal Investigation to be completed within 7 days
  • All accident / incident to be completed with 72 hours
  • All cases to be responded within 15 minutes
  • Work closely with the local police
  • Comprehensive investigation
  • 4. To develop Effective Working Relationship with OGAs

  • Monthly meeting with PDRM
  • Quarterly meetings with RMCD / IMG / MAQIS
  • Periodical meetings with other OGA Agencies
  • 5. To Ensure Compliance To The Laws And Regulatory Requirements

  • Regular inspection on vessels by each group in charge
  • Regular Exercise / drills with other department
  • Review of SOPs from time to time
  • Stern action taken against offenders
  • Reporting to PKA and Marine Dept for further action against the Company / Liners
  • Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law or other Security related fields.
  • Minimum 10 – 15 years of experience serving as a PDRM Officer.
  • Strong background in Criminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
