Structural Engineer | Technical - Leviat at CRH. Location : Shah Alam, Malaysia. Req ID : .

Leviat is a global leader in connecting, fixing, lifting and anchoring technology for the construction industry. The Structural Engineer will be a vital part of the Technical Services Team, providing engineered solutions, technical advice, and design proposals to clients and entities across Asia and other regions as needed.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Deliver engineered solutions and design proposals utilizing Leviat products
Provide technical support and advice on Leviat products and their applications
Support product compliance initiatives in current and prospective markets
Assist with development and maintenance of in-house design tools and procedures to improve performance and efficiency of the Technical Services Team
Prepare and present internal and external technical training sessions
Assist with product improvement projects, including the development and maintenance of product design guides and technical literature
Stay informed on industry news, trends, products, services, competitors, and relevant technologies
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Leviat H&S policies and procedures
Scope covers all technical and engineering related responsibilities

Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering

Minimum one year of experience in structural design of buildings

Strong understanding of basic structural engineering design principles and failure modes, particularly reinforced concrete

Exposure to multinational work environments

Goal oriented, analytical, self-motivated, proactive, and flexible

Ability to manage time to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality

Alignment with Leviat values, including safety aspects
