This is a critical role for someone with a hunter sales profile, successful track record in industrial B2B / B2C sales, strong network in Malaysia and the region within the construction, oil & gas and industrial markets. Field Sales Executive
Based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia)
Your Role : As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible to identify new business opportunities, develop key accounts, and drive revenue growth in Malaysia and assigned region . You will represent high-quality technical solutions aimed at various industrial sectors – Oil and Gas, construction and manufacturing, working closely with both customers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. This role reports to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities :
- Actively pursue and develop new business opportunities, focusing on clients in Malaysia and the region, particularly in the construction, oil & gas and manufacturing sectors.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Visit clients regularly to understand their needs, promote products, and offer technical solutions.
- Provide application support and demonstrate equipment on-site.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and presentations to proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Work in coordination with cross-functional teams including technical and operations to support project execution and customer service.
- Develop customized quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales effectively to meet targets.
- Record sales activities and customer interactions in CRM and submit regular reports to the sales manager.
Requirements
2 - 5 years of experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within industrial sectors.Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.Proven experience with new business development and managing key accounts in Johor, Malaysia, especially in construction, oil & gas and manufacturing sector.Self-motivated and independent, with a strong sense of ownership and drive to meet sales targets.Willingness to travel frequently for client visits.Entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication, and negotiation skills.Comfortable working independently while being part of an international team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers confidently in person.Benefits
