Software QA Engineer – Mandarin Speaker (WFH)

Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2 years of experience in QA / software testing, with both manual and automation test responsibilities. Proficiency in English & Mandarin is a MUST. Familiarity with manual testing techniques and QA documentation practices. Basic understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies. Experience using issue tracking tools like JIRA or equivalent. Experience testing web applications (desktop + mobile); exposure to cross platform / responsive design is preferred. Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals : functional testing, regression, integration, system, usability. Ability to derive test cases from requirements / user stories and identify edge cases. Experience with REST APIs and API testing practices (e.g., Postman). Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation. Hands-on experience writing automated tests using at least one tool / framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Comfortable working with Mandarin documentation or test data. Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Work with developers and product managers to define clear acceptance criteria and test requirements.
- Report bugs and track them through resolution using issue tracking tools.
- Document test results and provide feedback to the team on quality issues and improvements.
- Contribute to test planning, maintenance, and execution in collaboration with the QA Lead.
- Participate in sprint planning and QA discussions to ensure test coverage across features.
- Support regression testing during release cycles to ensure product stability.
- Maintain and improve automated testing scripts and frameworks.
