Role Overview

The Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure solutions to ensure optimal performance, security, scalability, and alignment with business needs. This role covers the full lifecycle of infrastructure—from architecture and deployment to operations and continuous improvement—across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. The engineer collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions that support MetLife’s business operations and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

Provide lifecycle support for distributed and enterprise servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.

Ensure system security, perform vulnerability assessments, and implement best practices for data protection and regulatory compliance.

Use infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell) to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management.

Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and lead cross‑functional project teams.
