Job description

The Room Division Manager is responsible for supervising, directing, and leading the operations of the Front Office and Housekeeping departments in line with the hotel’s established objectives and quality standards. With a strong focus on service excellence and operational efficiency, the manager ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, maintains high standards of cleanliness and comfort, and drives business growth by maximizing revenue opportunities within the room division. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily hotel operations, including Front Office and Housekeeping, to ensure efficiency and profitability. Collaborate with the Hotel Manager / Area General Manager to develop strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Identify areas for improvement and recommendations. Stay updated on industry trends to enhance accommodation, services and facilities. Ensure the Housekeeping Department maintains cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas within budget constraints. Conduct regular inspections on guest rooms, public areas, lobby, and other facilities to uphold high cleanliness standards. Achieve KPIs for ancillary revenue and customer engagement, such as upselling and social media reviews. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures within departments. Coordinate with outsourced contractors for efficient and effective service delivery. Collaborate with the Human Resources on manpower needs, recruitment, promotion, and termination. Act as a representative for the Hotel Manager / Area General Manager in their absence. Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Hotel Manager / Area General Manager diligently and professionally. Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within hospitality operations. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills. Able to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Seniority level
