This will be an initial 6-12 month contract .
The Role :
- Support the planning and execution of the financial shared service centre setup in Malaysia.
- Develop and implement strategies for the shared service centre, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Oversee the design and implementation of financial processes and systems within the shared service centre.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the shared service centre with existing operations.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage the project timeline, budget, and resources to ensure successful completion of the setup.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the setup and operation of the shared service centre.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Mentor and develop team members within the shared service centre.
Requirements :
Proven experience in setting up and managing financial shared service centres within the financial services / insurance industry.Strong background in FP&A and project management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and project management tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple stakeholders.Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.Reg.
