About Reap : Reap is a global fintech company focused on treasury and financial operations that move money across fiat and stablecoins, with a Treasury team responsible for handling incoming and outgoing flows, internal transfers, withdrawals, and payouts. Our systems are designed to be reliable, observable, and audit-ready by default, and we collaborate across teams to meet operational, regulatory, and business needs.
What you’ll do
We are seeking a skilled Treasury Quant Developer to join our Treasury team. This role focuses on building and optimizing quantitative models for treasury management, particularly in foreign exchange (FX) pricing and risk management. You will work closely with the Treasury / Finance / Data teams and the systems engineers responsible for the Treasury Management System (TMS) development and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the treasury team to design and implement FX pricing and risk models for integration into the Treasury system.
- Model and quantify the impact of FX fluctuations on Reap’s profitability and competitiveness.
- Maintain strong market knowledge of FX dynamics to inform modeling and risk assessment.
- Own analysis and reporting of FX-related gains and losses in partnership with the Finance and Treasury teams.
- Build systems and conduct network analysis to enhance treasury operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate closely with the Treasury Systems Engineer to implement and integrate quantitative models within the TMS infrastructure.
- Support continuous improvement of the treasury system’s accuracy, efficiency, and data connectivity related to the quantitative models.
- Analyze transaction data to identify patterns, anomalies, and FX risks related to internal fund transfers and various treasury services.

Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, or Financial EngineeringAt least 6 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years running trading strategies end to endBackground in high-frequency trading, preferably in market-making or latency-sensitive environmentsStrong data analysis skillsPreferred Qualifications
Domain knowledge : Experience in financial domains—such as payments, disbursements, custody, or cards—is a strong plus, but not required.Technical proficiency : You design systems that are stateless by default, built for scale, and resilient to failure. You’re comfortable with async workflows, distributed services, and cloud infrastructure.AI fluency : You embrace using AI tools to accelerate development and explore ideas, but you apply them with discernment, not as a replacement.
