Job Summary

RBC Shared Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting multiple RBC businesses in countries across various time zones. Malaysia is one of several operational processing centers within RBC supporting a variety of businesses and Functions including Wealth Management, Capital Markets, I&TS, GRM, and Finance. The entity utilizes a Global Operating Model to maximize efficiencies across times zones and supports various shifts to ensure ongoing support across time zones. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of RBC’s global operations, improve service quality via our ‘centers of excellence’ and to implement / leverage standard processes.

As a Senior Recruiter, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all assigned business group and be responsible for the Talent Attraction Strategy in collaboration with Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners. Provide best in class expertise and advice in partnership with hiring managers to provide a superior candidate experience, to secure the best talent quickly using effective and efficient workflow management. Be viewed as a trusted talent advisor and share market insights and intelligence as gathered from candidate interactions.

Where external recruitment is required, source, screen, assess talent and make recommendations to managers on candidates, develop a solid understanding of assigned business and build strong relationships with managers, HR partners and other internal groups as appropriate, partner with managers to facilitate employment offer process and provides meaningful feedback to internal and external candidates, ensuring candidate experience is extremely positive, client (Hiring Manager) experience is professional and commercial, and work with Head of HR, Business Leaders, and Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to ensure reporting on Talent Acquisition (TA) activities are accurate and timely.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Effectively manage the recruitment process for roles assigned, across Line of Businesses / Business Platforms.
  • Effectively collaborate with hiring managers to plan & deliver talent acquisition plans, while building a strong reputation / relationship with hiring managers
  • Build a strong understanding of the recruitment process, various milestones along the way, and be proactive and resourceful to overcome challenges throughout the process. Ensure required routines are in place to meet business needs.
  • Create plan and lead the hiring strategy conversation, acting in an advisory role to hiring managers during the intake & overall recruitment process
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles through appropriate and targeted sourcing including good quality market intelligence to business head regarding the recruitment market
  • Ensure high compliant to the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, interview, offer to on-boarding.
  • Data Integrity : Regularly update Workday as per specified data integrity process requirements (i.e. ensure data is included when a hire is made, appropriate movement of candidates through folders, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all the recruitment and HR team members as well as candidates and hiring managers.
  • Deliver a superior recruitment experience to all candidates and hiring managers
  • Strong understanding of RBC’s value proposition to appropriately “sell” career opportunities
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning by building business acumen, sharing competitive intelligence, and staying abreast of business / market trends
  • Representing the function of TA effectively throughout RBC and externally ensuring our brand is protected and profiled in interactions
