The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join our thriving accounting firm, LEE CHAY & ASSOCIATES, at our Bayan Lepas, Penang office. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in managing day-to-day accounting processes and SST submissions for our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage accounting processes and SST submissions to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.
  • Liaise with clients to address queries and provide technical support.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, SST regulations, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks, such as preparing unaudited financial reports for Sendirian Berhad companies eligible for audit exemption.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounts supervisory or senior accounts officer role, preferably within a professional services or accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and lead a team.
  • A recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
