Lead, plan, and manage the daily execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities through CMMS.
Coordinate maintenance schedules with Operations to minimize production disruptions.
Ensure all work orders, workpacks, and permits are executed in line with procedures and industry best practices.
Act as Shutdown Manager, planning and executing maintenance shutdowns safely, on time, and within budget.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE, PTW (Permit to Work), SIMOPS, and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety observations, and participate in incident investigations to ensure safe work practices.
Monitor asset integrity and ensure critical equipment is maintained in compliance with OEM recommendations, company standards, and class / regulatory requirements (e.g., DNV, DOSH, Marine Department).
Participate in and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and reliability improvement initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement programs to optimize maintenance strategies, enhance equipment availability, and reduce unplanned downtime.
Liaise with onshore technical support teams, vendors, and contractors for specialized maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
Manage and review contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contracts and safety standards.
Act as offshore focal point for audits, inspections, and client interfaces related to maintenance activities.
Ensure spare parts inventory levels are maintained, optimized, and aligned with maintenance requirements.
Monitor and control maintenance budget, managing work orders, purchase requisitions, invoices, and job completion certifications (JCC).
Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives without compromising safety or integrity.
Prepare and review daily / weekly maintenance reports, equipment failure analyses, and performance KPIs.
Ensure all maintenance data is accurately recorded in CMMS for reporting, tracking, and regulatory compliance.
Support regulatory and client reporting requirements for inspections, audits, and maintenance performance.
Collaborate with Operations, Marine, and Technical teams to align maintenance activities with production priorities.
Support project teams during upgrades, modifications, and new equipment installation.
Assist management in business development initiatives by providing technical input on O&M capabilities.
Assist superior, client, and other functions in business development initiatives, technical matters, and O&M projects.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, Process, or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore oil & gas facilities operations.
Strong track record in HSE, Process Safety, operations management, and client relationship management.
Strong background in FPSO or offshore production facilities, covering mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and marine systems. Hands-on experience managing shutdowns, asset integrity, and class / regulatory compliance.
Deep knowledge of preventive, corrective, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with clients, contractors, and regulators. Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships effectively.
Analytical, strategic thinker with problem-solving mindset. Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.

Excellence command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).
