Job descriptionProvides technical assistance to Level 1 engineers Provides onsite or offsite support to customers Involved in department rotation standby roster Leads project incident reports from technical perspective Responsible to carry out complex installations (more than one technology) Ensures project deployments are according to timelines Provides input to develop project documentation Captures and updates project implementation technical issues for lessons learned Conducts project testing and commissioning with customers Updates installation tickets in a timely manner in Field Service Management System Updates timesheet in Intranet system timesheet To conduct a minimum of one knowledge sharing session
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience deploying and managing infrastructure
- Must be CCNA certified (Cisco Certified Network Associated), CCNP, CCNA-Security, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, FireEye SE will be advantage.
- Familiar with network and security components and products such as Trend Micro, FireEye, Fortigate, PaloAlto, etc.
- Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Qualified candidates should have well rounded experience with full network diagnosis, configuration and problem resolution.
- Advanced experience in troubleshooting layer 2 and 3 routing and switching issues
- Knowledge of protocol analysis tools used to troubleshoot layer 2 & 3 issues Technical Support for critical situations
- Protocol decoding and analysis using a variety of software tools e.g. sniffer, wireshark etc
- Demonstrated proficiency with Cisco switches and routers, Wireless LAN, Cisco ASA Firewall and network management and monitoring tools
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Possess a positive attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
